DISADVANTAGES OF CLASSICAL CONTROL SYSTEM:

  1. Requires significant capital costs for the construction of a cable rack and the installation of an electrical network from the switchboard operator room to the island of loading.
  2. Requires the presence of electrical room in the operator's room. The costs of designing ground cable racks are required.
  3. The control scheme is not standardized, which prevents its typical design.
  4. Complexity and small variation of the control scheme.
  5. Maintenance and repair of control systems for cable-type cables is difficult.

ADVANTAGES OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM AT THE BASIS OF FIELD CONTROLLERS:

  1. Allows you to replace all control cables with one RS-485 interface cable, routed from the field controller to the personal computer at the operator's workplace.
  2. Allows to abandon the traditional construction of an expensive cable trestle and in connection with a small number of cables (2-3 cables) to lay them in the ground.
  3. Installation of modular refueling complexes is carried out according to standard designs, which allows to significantly reduce the costs for the design, installation and adjustment of equipment.
  4. The replacement of old equipment with new modular loading platforms makes it possible to simplify and reduce the cost of the reconstruction of oil tankers.
  5. Standardization of the control and monitoring system simplifies the maintenance and repair process
